Among young people: "If you do not have Facebook account, you do not exist." In every saying there is a grain of truth as social networking service because the latest figures say that Facebook has registered a billion people around the world. As BBC claims “Facebook is a vast, sprawling network and you can make whatever you want of it. You sign up by putting some details, and preferably a photo of yourself, on the Facebook website. Then you’re ready to start posting a few updates. These updates are statements about what you’re up to, links to interesting stuff you’ve seen elsewhere on the web - it’s up to you.

A gift card

A gift card may resemble a credit card or display a specific theme on a plastic card the size of a credit card. The card is identified by a specific number or code, not usually with an individual name, and thus could be used by anybody. They are backed by an on-line electronic system for authorization. Some gift cards can be reloaded by payment and can be used thus multiple times. Many cards have no value until they are sold, at which time the cashier enters the amount which the customer wishes to put on the card. This amount is rarely stored on the card but is instead noted in the store's database, which is crosslinked to the card ID. Gift cards thus are generally not stored value cards as used in many public transport systems or library photocopiers, where a simplified system (with no network) stores the value only on the card itself. The magnetic strip is also often placed differently than on credit cards, so they cannot be read or written with standard equipment. Other gift cards may have a set value and need to be activated by calling a specific number. Gift cards can also be custom tailored to meet specific needs. By adding a custom message or name on the front of the card, it can make for an individualized gift or incentive to an employee to show how greatly they are appreciated.

Buy it Now saves the day!

You don't lose BIDs even if someone else wins the auction. You will receive the item and all the BIDs that you have spent during the auction until you click on "Buy it Now", will return to you! Moreover, if the auction is still ongoing , after using the " Buy it Now " you can still take part in it and still have a chance to bid for the item that is a lot cheaper! In addition, the item purchased at the " Buy it Now " does not count into the limit of won auction!

With the "Buy it Now" your BIDs placed in bidding are safe! Not only can you get purchased BIDs back, but also those you have receive in the exchange from the won item. To make it even easier we called those BIDs – Returnable BIDs*. The balance of your BID account is divided into two groups – one group is allotted for Returnable BIDs and second is allotted for your regular BIDs.

Don't get intimidated

If you regularly bid at, I am sure you would have come across aggressive bidders and wondered what strategy will beat them. There are many strategies that aggressive bidders are using to prevent you from winning. For starters, they are playing on the psychology of a bidder. This is because no one likes to be outbid the next moment.

Consider this: You like an item and place a bid. As soon as you place the bid, someone outbids you. Now you place your bid again and within a second, you are again outbid by the same person. This is a natural cause of frustration and after a few bids, the person usually just gives up. This is not the right strategy.

However, you do not have to be afraid of aggressive bidders. You simply need to understand their psychology and their situation to really beat them. Remember that when bidders get aggressive, they have fewer number of bids left as they need to outbid every person. This is important to remember because when you spend 1 bid, the aggressive bidder might need to spend 5. This is because you are not the only other bidder - there are other
